Senior Advisor to the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum
Cristiana Falcone is the Senior Advisor to the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum. Ms. Falcone has extensive experience in the public and private sector, international organizations, and the media industry. Previously, she gained her experience in global advocacy at the International Labour Organization, at Shell in corporate strategy, and in media at RAI (Italian Radio and Television). She is also the Principal Advisor on Strategic Outreach at the Inter-American Development Bank.
She is an active advisor to the Board of RayTV, the Friedman School of Nutrition at Tufts University and INTERNEWS. She is also a member of the Journalists' guild of Italy and a trustee of her family foundation.
Ms. Falcone graduated from the University of Rome La Sapienza in Political Science and earned her MA in Humanitarian Assistance from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, she holds an MA in Diplomatic Studies from the Italian Society for International Organization and the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and several post-graduate certificates in leadership, corporate strategy, and management.
