Head of Marie-Kahle comprehensive school, Bonn
Sabine Kreutzer is head of a comprehensive school, the Marie-Kahle-Gesamtschule Bonn, founded three years ago. Holding a Master’s degree in philology, her focus of interest lies in languages and intercultural understanding. At the newly founded school, Kreutzer established intercultural understanding, sustainability and the ability to participate in decision-making processes as the main educational aims. Consequently, exposure to global topics, different cultures and volunteering are part of every student's curriculum. In cooperation with CARE, the students learn about global development issues and support the aid organization with voluntary initiatives. Children from the age of 10 learn about global issues, children's lives all over the world and that their voice and their volunteer work can make the world a better place.
