Professor Dr. Andreas Löschel is head of the department "Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management" at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and Professor of Economics at the University of Heidelberg. Since 2011, he chairs the government's Energy Expert Commission to monitor the energy transformation in Germany. He serves as lead author in the Working Group III contribution to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (2010-2014) and is Research Associate at Economics for Energy, Madrid, and the Centre for Climate Economics and Policy, Crawford School of Economics & Government, Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra.
